If you’re looking for the perfect personalized gift for your guests: live illustration will always be a hit. I create personalized portraits or fashion illustrations in 5-10 minutes that guests can immediately take home with them as a remembrance of your event. Some past clients of my first events keep in touch years after, saying they still love their ilustration!
I can draw 8-10 illustrations per hour.
I’ve been a live illustrator at various events since 2019 and have since then made hundreds of drawings. I’m located in Utrecht, The Netherlands but am willing to travel.

Pricing
Get in touch via the contact form below. Pricing depends on location and amount of hours, but my starting rate for 2,5 hours is € 700 excl. 9% BTW. A full 6 hour day is € 1600 excl. 9% BTW. Travel costs and optional custom printed paper are priced per event.
My live illustration service is available for in-store events, product launches, branding events, festivals but I’m also available as a live illustrator for weddings! It doesn’t stop at live illustrating portraits, I’m also available for painting on your products.

What is live illustration?
Live illustration means that me, a live illustrator, will come to your event and draw your guest on the spot! My standard is to draw on A5 size paper and draw either portraits or fashion illustration. It takes me about 6 minutes per person and guests can take that drawing home with them.
How many persons can you draw in an hour as a live illustrator?
It takes me about 6 minutes per person to draw an illustration on A5 size paper. This adds up to 8-10 people per hour and also accounts for time between switching models. I can work a bit faster if I work with one colour or medium, but keep in mind it’s still a handmade illustration.
What makes your live illustration style unique?
I have a background in fashion design and have worked as a fashion illustrator which gives me a unique style. I use a variety of mixed media that I bring with me and like switching it up, to keep every drawing unique. My personal work that I make in my atelier is full of colour and that knowledge of colour I bring with me to my live illustrations.
What does hiring you as a live illustrator cost?
My starting rate for 2,5 hours as a live illustrator is € 700,- excl. 9% btw/VAT and travel costs of €0,30/km. For a full day of 6 hours of live illustrating I charge € 1600,- excl. btw/VAT. Custom paper, within normal requests, costs an additional € 75.
If you’d like to book me abroad, there might be travel time and flights involved. In that case, get in touch via the contact form so I can send you a precise quote.
How does booking you as a live illustrator work?
After we have been in touch via email and have discussed your wishes, I will send you a quote. If you agree to this quote I’ll reserve your date and that’s it!
On the day of the event I will arrive +- 20 minutes early to set up my drawing station. I will bring all the materials I need, I just need you to provide me with a table and a chair at comfortable sitting height. If you want the drawings to be displayed during the event, it’s also great to have a location to hang them or display them on a table. After the event is done, I will clean up my station and will send you an invoice a day or two later.
Can I make a custom request?
Of course! I love it when clients bring in their own creative ideas. Whether it’s painting a setting live, or painting live on products or work within a specific colour scheme of your branding.
